Conditions of Use
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE ("USER
AGREEMENT") VERY CAREFULLY.
Shipping
We do our best to ship
all items the same day the order is placed, painted gauge pods and other custom
requests may take longer. Stacks also usually take 5-7 business days to ship.
Please keep this in mind when ordering them with express shipping. We do our
best to deliver most items within 5-6 business days, most will show up much
sooner.
Not all items come from our shop in IN. Some large orders with
multiple items may come in multiple shipments.
Please call us for estimated
ground shipping time to your location, please don't assume that the product will
automatically ship from IN.
We
ship almost all packages with a signature required for
delivery. If you specifically want us NOT to require a signature
for delivery, please make a notation in the "Order Comments" field
you see on the order form.
PLEASE NOTE: Any
insurance claims for damaged items and/or stolen goods from your doorstep that
are NOT honored by the shipping carrier because you requested a signature not be
required for delivery is NOT our responsibility.
We will not cover the
cost!
If you order something
online with express shipping such as Next Day Air or Second Day air, and enter
the incorrect shipping address, if the package does not get to you on time
because of the address mistake, shipping will NOT be refunded if it is your
error.
Frequently asked shipping related
questions:
Q: My order shipping method says
UPS, but you sent me a FEDEX tracking number, am I getting someone else's
order?
A: Here at Dave's Diesel Angola L.l.C. we use UPS
Ground OR equivalent if you picked ground. Some orders may get shipped via
Priority Mail if we determine that you will get your package sooner via that
method. If you order something and want 1st, 2nd, or 3rd day shipping we reserve
the right to use the carrier of our choice if we determine your package will get
there in the same time period.
Q: My receipt says I was
charged for 20lbs of shipping and the UPS tracking number only indicates that a
9lb package was shipped, why did you charge me for a 20lb
package?
A: Some items are larger than others and we need to
enter DIMENSIONAL weight for shipping cost accuracy, especially for larger items
that need to ship with express shipping. Carriers such as UPS & Fedex charge
by dimensions, rather than weight.
Q: I received my item and
upon opening it, the item is damaged! What do I do now?
A:
First, please DO NOT install the product. Retain all packaging material, the
damaged item, and anything else that came with the product. Call us right away
so we can start a damaged shipment claim. Please inspect your items as soon as
you receive them UPS & Fedex only allow us 10 business days after receipt of
a package to file a damage claim. If you notify us more than 10 days after
receipt about damage we will be unable to file a claim and therefore unable to
replace or reimburse you for a damaged item.
Order Cancellation
Policy
Cancellations are not accepted
through email, fax, or voice-mail message. You must speak directly to a
technical sales representative to have your order cancellation confirmed. All
cancellations are subject to a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests on
items that have been shipped previous to the request are considered completed
orders, and will be rejected. Some specialty items are not
returnable/refundable/cancelable under any circumstances. Any situation out of
the control of Angoladavesdiesel.com (weather, earthquakes, change of
address, etc.) shall not subject orders to cancellation or return.
If
you refuse a package without authorization from us, a $15 refusal fee will be
deducted from your refund.
Return
Policy
Charge-backs will be turned to collection.
This does affect your credit rating.
If you receive a damaged
product, or it does not meet your expectations, first, contact us here at Dave's
Diesel Angola for instructions on how to return the item to us.
We will
require that the product be in the original packaging, shipped prepaid within 15
days and with a copy of the invoice for a refund or exchange.
·Defective
items -
Any warranty claims for defective merchandise that occur after 30 days from the
date of purchase must be handled between the customer and the manufacturer. We
will do our best to support you after the sale, but we cannot accept returns on
items that fail due to manufacturer defects. Some items can be exchanged through
us if they are DOA or fail within 30 days. To inquire about a certain product
and its return policy, you may call us at 260-665-5396 before
purchase.
Tuners, Programmers, & Modules
-
If you are unhappy with a tuner,
programmer, or module, you may return it for a full refund less shipping within
15 days of your purchase.
Unopened
Items - We
will fully refund you for any unopened item (not listed below)
for any reason within 15 days of the original purchase date. Shipping
is not refundable.
-Cylinder Heads - We stand
behind our machine work. If our machine work is deemed incorrect, you may at
your expense return the cylinder head to us. We will then fix or replace the
cylinder head if necessary. IF THE CYLINDER HEAD IS MODIFIED/MACHINED after it
leaves our location, all warranties are void and the cylinder head is not
returnable or refundable.
-South
Bend Clutches: Any returned South Bend Clutches for
any reason will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. This fee covers the
re-boxing of the clutch, as the boxes are generally not re-usable after one
shipment.
-Air to Water Intercooler Cores: All
returned Air to water intercooler cores are subject to a 10% restocking fee. NO
EXCEPTIONS!
-INJECTION LINES:
We do not accept any returns on custom or standard bent injection
lines. They are covered under warranty for a period of 6 months and will be
fixed at the manufacturers discretion if any leaks
occur.
-INJECTORS:
We do not accept any returns on injectors after
they have been installed. If there is a defect and the issue is covered under
warranty the consumer will need to deal directly with the injector manufacturer
to resolve the issue. Injectors that have not been installed are returnable
within the 15 day return policy but are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
-Smoke Stacks- All Grand Rock smoke stack branded
items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions! Freight is not
refundable!
-RETURNS PAST 15 DAYS- No Returns on ANY item after 15 days unless there
are extenuating circumstances. We may at our discretion refuse to authorize your
return or charge a 25% restocking fee. We can ONLY offer an in-store credit on
returns accepted after 15 days.
-There
will be absolutely NO returns on any electronic replacement sensors for Ford,
Chevy, or Dodge trucks. We will help you get them replaced if they are DOA, but
we cannot accept returned electronics otherwise.
CORES: All cores are due back in 15 DAYS. If
we have not received your core back in 15 days you will NOT get a core
refund.
DO NOT SHIP ITEMS BACK TO THE RETURN ADDRESS ON THE BOX YOUR ITEMS
CAME IN.
ALWAYS CALL US FOR AN RMA NUMBER AND ADDRESS FIRST!
Whether you are returning because the item is incorrect or defective, we
will be forced to charge you $15 for sending the product to the incorrect
address. This could also delay your credit/refund if applicable. This $15 charge
will be deducted from your credit/refund amount along with a restocking fee if
applicable. Many products are sent factory direct and must return to the factory
for exchange or credit, so please DO NOT send them to our shop. This $15 charge
also applies if you REFUSE a package without prior authorization from
us.
This also applies to
CORES! CALL US FIRST TO CONFIRM THE CORE RETURN ADDRESS. IF YOU SEND IT HERE, WE
WILL DEDUCT $15 OFF YOUR CORE REFUND.

Opened items must be in as-new condition, in
original packaging with the packing slip, with any/all warranty cards, manuals
and accessories within 15 days of the original purchase date.
·
After 15
days all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise
arranged with us.
-It is the
customers responsibility to follow-up on returns, we recommend shipping your
item with a traceable carrier. Once you believe the item has been delivered,
please call us so we can verify everything is in order an that your credit will
be processed.
-If you fail to follow up on a return, then initiate
a CHARGE-BACK because you didn't check the credit status with us first, you will
AUTOMATICALLY be charged a $50 charge-back fee, whether we dispute the
CHARGE-BACK claim or issue credit separately. Remember, you agree to this when
you place you order, and a copy of this agreement will be provided to your card
company if you feel you are being charged $50
unjustly.
-Be sure to insure your items! If the package is damaged or
destroyed and your returned item is in unacceptable resale condition, we will be
unable to credit you, it is your responsibility to file the damage claim with
the carrier.
We do not accept
returns on the following:

Any
non-standard item that is manufactured or modified to a specific customer's
needs.
·
Any
Custom Painted item and Paint. (unless initially defective upon
reciept
·
Any
emissions deleting/bypass piping hardware or software. This includes DPF delete
kits.
·
Exhaust
systems, down pipes, or other exhaust component after it has been installed.
·
Any
electronic components or parts if they have been installed on the vehicle.
(unless defective)
·
Items
damaged due to abuse, misuse, or neglect will not be eligible for replacement or
accepted for return.
·
Any item
without a copy of the original invoice, return form, and RMA# unless other
special arrangements have been made.
Please check thoroughly that all
components are what you ordered and look to be in working
order.
When is my credit card
charged?
Dave's Diesel Angola charges your credit card when you
submit your order online. If there is a delay in shipping your order, you will
be notified by phone or email within 2 business days.
International Customers:
All international customers are
responsible for paying 100% of any duties & or taxes and import/brokerage
fees incurred when products are shipped out of the U.S.A.. If these fees are not
paid by the consumer at the time of delivery, they will be charged to Daves
Diesel Angola L.L.C. and then invoiced and billed to your credit card.
We do our best to quote international shipping accurately, but
our online shopping cart shipping calculator is not always 100% correct.
If the ACTUAL cost of shipping exceeds what
you paid, we will be in contact ASAP to verify if you approve any additional
shipping cost. Other items, such as items
that have free shipping, apply only to US customers, and we will contact you
with a correct shipping quote to your location. If the extra cost is not agreeable, we are more than happy to
refund and cancel your purchase.
Pricing, specifications,
availability and terms of offers may change without notice, are not transferable
and are valid only for new purchases from Dave's Diesel Angola for
delivery in the 50 United States. Dave's Diesel Angola cannot be
responsible for typography, photography, pricing or other errors, omissions, or
consequences of misuse of site and its functions and reserves the right to
cancel orders arising from such errors.
Orders subject to cancellation
by Dave's Diesel Angola. All prices exclude shipping (except where otherwise
noted) and taxes where applicable. All trademarks and registered trademarks are
the property of their registered holders.
