Clutches fail in high performance applications due to excessive heat. Don’t get burned! For the hard core performance addicts we have developed our performance street/strip/pull transmission kit. Transmission kits include clutches that withstand higher temperatures and stress than any other clutch available. Increased clutch surface area provides for increased holding, heat absorption, shorter lock-up time and decreased “slippage.” All clutch frictions and steel plates are made from high heat, wear and fatigue resistant material to ensure your Allison 1000 transmission can handle over 650hp. This kit is designed to handle a Duramax with stacked performance chips and the use of propane and/or small nitrous kits. Included in this kit, BD tripple disc converter, valve body kit, and a replacement of clutches and steels with High-Friction C1, C2, C3, and C4 clutches with Kolene steels. This kits is for daily driving, heavy towing, and moderate racing and sled pulling. If extreme racing and/or sled pulling please call to talk about other options to fit your needs.

The optional C5 clutch kit is built to handle heavy duty towing. This is the strongest C5 clutch kit on the market. The C5 clutches improve first gear, reverse and park. Included in this kit are 8 frictions and 8 steels the ultimate in performance and transfer of rear wheel horsepower. $300.00
